Green, Gala & Mega — Technical Specifications
The values below describe configurations included in the supplied manual. Equipment quantities can differ between machine models and capacities.
Configuration shown in the manual: The detailed installation example describes four digital controllers and five independent turning levels. The larger quantities above are model-range values, not a claim that every Green, Gala or Mega incubator contains the maximum number.
Factory settings: The controllers have been configured before delivery. Do not change their settings unnecessarily.
Main and Backup Digital Controllers
The equipment configuration described in detail in the manual uses four digital controllers.
- Main temperature controller: Resolution of 0.1°C.
- Backup temperature controller: Resolution of 0.1°C.
- Main humidity controller: Resolution of 1%.
- Backup humidity controller: Resolution of 1%.
Normal Controller Operation
Under normal conditions, the main temperature and humidity controllers are connected to the active control circuits.
Temperature readings from the two controllers should be close, with differences of only a few tenths of a degree.
The humidity controllers may show a difference of approximately 1–5%, according to the original manual.
Temperature Controller Indicator Light
When the measured temperature is below the configured value, the thermostat's green indicator light remains illuminated while the heater is operating.
When the required temperature is reached, the indicator light turns off.
Switching to a Backup Controller
The supplied manual describes using a backup controller if the corresponding main controller fails.
Electrical safety: This procedure involves internal electrical connections. The machine must be completely disconnected from all electrical supplies, including any connected battery, before accessing the controller compartment.
Only a person competent to service the machine should perform this procedure.
- Switch the incubator off completely and disconnect its power sources.
- Remove the trays to access the interior of the machine.
- Remove the plastic grille inside the ceiling to access the controller connection compartment.
- Identify the cable connected to the faulty digital controller.
- Disconnect the cable from the rear of the faulty controller.
- Connect the cable to the corresponding backup controller, preserving the original connector orientation.
- Reinstall the plastic ceiling grille in its original position.
Important: Follow the original photographs and the instructional video before changing the controller connection. This written procedure does not replace the manufacturer's illustrated instructions.
Power Supply and Vehicle-Battery Backup
The detailed configuration in the original manual specifies a 30-amp power supply and a vehicle-battery connection for use during a power outage.
- Connect the red battery clamp to the positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the black battery clamp to the negative (−) terminal.
- The manual states that the power supply charges the connected battery while mains electricity is available.
- Follow the exact electrical arrangement shown for the machine configuration.
Battery polarity warning: If the clamps touch each other or are connected with reversed polarity, the battery cable fuse may blow.
Do not use a worn-out or defective battery. Check all connections against the original electrical diagram before applying power.
Fuse: The manual specifies a 20-amp battery-cable fuse and states that a spare fuse is supplied with the machine.
Humidifier and Water Reservoir
Humidifier Operation
The humidifier operates when the measured humidity is below the configured value. Its indicator light illuminates while the humidifier is operating.
- Use distilled water to help extend the humidifier's service life.
- Keep the water level above the humidifier's metal sensor.
- If the water level falls below the sensor, the humidifier will not start.
- The humidifier component instructions specify refilling approximately every 2–3 days.
Water refill intervals: The component section specifies 2–3 days, while the setter-stage operating section specifies every two days. These are the intervals stated in the source; check the actual water level rather than relying on time alone.
Humidifier warranty: The original manual states that the mist-generating humidifier is excluded from warranty coverage because water hardness varies between regions.
Removable Water Reservoir
The water reservoir is located at the bottom of the machine. The manual describes it as washable and easy to replace.
Automatic Egg-Turning System
The manual describes automatic egg turning with three interchangeable types of egg cups for different birds.
The process for changing the egg cups is demonstrated in the accompanying instructional video.
Independent Turning Motors
The detailed machine configuration shown in the manual contains five independent turning levels.
- Each level has its own egg-turning motor.
- Each motor has an indicator light showing that electrical power is reaching the motor.
- Every motor plug must be connected to its designated socket.
- All connectors must be correctly positioned and securely inserted.
Checking motor operation: Egg-turning motors move slowly, so their movement may not be visible to the naked eye.
The manual advises checking for warmth and vibration at the motor to confirm that it is operating.
Motor connections: Check each plug carefully. Incorrect installation may prevent an individual turning level from operating.
Air Circulation Fan
The Green, Gala and Mega configuration described in the manual includes an air circulation fan.
- Check that the fan is operating and its speed has not decreased.
- Remove accumulated chick down or debris from the fan openings.
- Clean the fan thoroughly after each incubation cycle.
- Lubricate the fan using the lubricating spray specified in the original manual.
- Inspect the lower air inlets and upper ventilation openings.
Step-by-Step Installation and Startup
The following sequence describes the equipment arrangement illustrated in the supplied manual.
- Select the appropriate egg cups and install them on the turning mechanisms.
- Connect all turning-motor plugs to their designated electrical sockets.
- Fill the water reservoir until the water level is above the humidifier's metal sensor.
- Connect the machine's power supply and switch it on.
- For the illustrated four-controller configuration, check that all four digital controllers are illuminated.
- For the illustrated five-level configuration, check all five motor indicator lights.
- Confirm that the fan indicator light is illuminated and the fan is operating.
- If relative humidity is below 60%, check that the humidifier indicator is illuminated and the humidifier is operating, as described in the startup instructions.
- Operate the incubator without eggs for one full day to confirm the operation of the components.
- After the test period, place the eggs into the turning cups with their pointed ends downward.
Operating conditions stated in the startup section:
- Internal temperature: 37.5–37.7°C.
- Relative humidity: 55–65%.
Different capacities: If your machine has a different number of controllers or turning levels, check all the components actually installed on your machine. The example of four controllers and five motor indicators does not apply to every configuration.
Daily Equipment Checks
- Check the operation of the installed digital controllers.
- Check the indicator light for each turning motor.
- Confirm that the egg-turning system is functioning.
- Check the humidifier's metal water-level sensor.
- Keep the water level above the sensor.

Hatching Equipment and Roof Ventilation
The supplied manual instructs operators to remove the automatic turning mechanisms and use hatching baskets when entering the hatching stage.
- Remove the automatic egg-turning mechanisms.
- Place the eggs carefully into the hatching baskets.
- Add sufficient water to the reservoir to reduce the need to reopen the machine for refilling.
- Close the incubator door securely.
Roof Ventilation Openings
The manual specifies that the small roof ventilation openings can be opened when necessary to release excess humidity during hatching.
Ventilation adjustment: Use the roof openings according to the machine's instructions. Do not confuse this controlled adjustment with blocking the normal air inlets or outlets.
General hatching timing, chick care and incubation-stage precautions are explained in General Support.
